well today on Maysies farm i began my day by sinking my hands in some nice, poopy, compost-y soil. mmmm fresh.
after the 60 second (more like 5min) soil talk..we began to plant seeds to go into the hoophouse. lettuces, celery, broccoli, and califlower. we did that until lunch time. i ate my lunch outside and then wandered around..who needs an hour to eat their lunch?
then Todd the farm manager came to me and asked me questions, and told me i was going to learn how to ride a tractor!! so after he gave me the lowdown about how everything works i had to drive it and pick up manore with the bucket!! and put it in the back of a truck! haha now i know why jesse likes tractors so much :)

then i had to drive the tractor in the 2nd and 3rd feild some more..just to get used to it..then i learned the propa way to water the plants in the greenhouse and did that for an hour. ohh i also found out that i will be using an outhouse orrr the bushes. haha oh boy! i don't even use our outhouse in the mountains.

the intern guy (aaron) i work with is so cool! he makes his own kombucha!! and hes gonna give me some of his scoby :) how cool. uh he's also really nice and interesting to talk to. i can't wait for his girlfriend to come in May.

since the recent death of heath ledger........i had to go rummaging through my livejournal entries (thankfully i don't have many, since i'm mainly a lurker..) to find my post dedicated to Heath in 2005 (http://molye.livejournal.com/28756.html#cutid1) he surely was hot, but he was also a really good actor. I looked forward to the films he would be in in the future..when i was littler my most favorite movie was "10 things i hate about you" well maybe i'll persuade zac into watching it when he gets home, as a sort of mourning.

i'm excited about tomorrow. cut chemist and dj shadow are playing. and i'm visiting upattinas.

oh i had this amazing dream the other night. i fell in love with harry potter (weird because i've never read the books) and when i woke up i grabbed the harry potter book (the first one) zac's mom gave me a while ago and started reading it. i'm almost finished now. its very addicting. i cant't wait to read the next one.
i need some book suggestions, so if anyone reads this, suggest!

well tomorrow is my birthday, and it doesn't really feel like my birthday. just another day.
i wonder if my dad will remember to call me.
zac and i are going to see Jack Bakers band "When cars ascend". it should be a good time, i think.
i haven't heard much of their music, except whats on their myspace, so itll be suPRiSing

anddd on the 16th is the Fire bird thing with my mom and BARB!!!! YAY and Linda !! :) haha, i'm excited.

homeschooling has been quite boring for me, need more socializationz.

my dad's surgery went well!

today i found out that my dad has cancer.
ugh, it is scarier than expected.

he's getting it removed & everyone is hoping it'll be okay.

Zac, sam and I drove to Vermont last weekend, it took us about 10hrs because we got lost a lot (it was only supposed to take 6hrs).
It was my first time in Vermont, and I was hoping to see a moose : ) but I didn't. I saw a Moose Crossing sign though. When we got there it was soo snowy and slippery and beautiful. We stayed at a cool house with Keith, Jaron, Brett, Audrey and their parents. We snowboarded allll day and then stayed in the hot tub and took late night walks down the drive way. I got better at snowboarding and i had a lot of fun.

i have a runny nose now because i just walked to Goodwill and it's cold outside. Zac is in Florida now! I miss him, but he'll be home on Monday : )

wellll, it's very snowy outside right now, and everything is pretty.
i'm making gluten free, dairy free, egg free brownies for my moms friend at work. i hope they turn out right.

my cat (zenia) is in heat and veryyyy snuggly right now. it's very cute, she lays down really flat and does her little mating call.

i wish it wasn't so hard for me to make friends.

i don't care that i only have a few friends because they're closeascanbe friends.
one of my friends hasn't been hanging out with us because his girlfriend 'has him (i hate to say it but in this case it's true) whipped.'

but i just want to skip the "begining" of the friendship, like the slight awkwardness of not knowing what to say. i don't mind not talking, but i feel awkward because i think other people feel awkward. it's confusing
zac is my best friend-boy friend-journeyexplorer. sometimes i wish i could just melt into him and just be there

and the snow is perfect because you can walk on it and not sink in. and you can slide and sled on it pretty well. but i fell and hurt my knee

My mom always tells me stories about when she used to go to Upattinas. They're all about cool trips, or cool classes she took.

What happened to that? :(

Lately, I've been feeling like a bum. I only take three classes. Literature and Composition (not because I want to), Biology, and Art Journals. I want to take Accessible Art, but I'm unable to because it's the same period as Lit and Comp. I want to take glass blowing too, but there's only two torches now and it's always so crowded.
I always think - shouldn't we be able to afford teachers that teach cool things? like yoga or alternative medicine/health classes. I know upattinas is a poor school, but I'm not sure how we finace it.
I'm being unschooled next year, so i guess I shouldn't worry or something.

i'm tired.

Really really considering unschooling next year.  I was talking to my mom about it and we were talking about the trips we'd take. Jamacia, China, California, maybe India and Mexico are on the list. I would be especially excited about Jamacia but I'm not very informed about how their government works. I'll have to look into that. Today was errand day again, I saw Ellen at Kimberton Whole Foods and that was nice. She told me to try the vegan gummy bears, but I think I'll wait til next week because we got vegan brownies (mmmmm) this week. Um, what else is new..? I got my book in the mail (The Disappearance of the Universe) and I can't wait to read it. I'm also trying to crochet a scarf but my kitten keeps attacking the yarn :)  
OH! I got a new kitten for my collection. Her name is Amrah and she's white and orange. She's super good at hiding and she's kind of shy but she's getting used to us. Amrah is sooo  beautiful and Zenia loves to play with her. But sometimes she plays a little too rough. Peter Rabbit likes Amrah A LOT, i think it's because they're the same color. 

Yesterday I went to the vegan chinese restaurant (or cafe) that Kimmy told me about (SuTao) with my mom and Zac. I liked it, we had the buffet, yum.

my bus driver asked me if i was in love today, but then she started talking about satan before i could answer.

i had a dream that i got bitten by a poisonous cobra snake and i was going to die in two days. and then me and arianna had to perform this really strange play and she was like this magical lady in real life. i remember precisely saying i didn't want to die. and then i drove my mom around in this parking lot and it was reallly weird. then we all started crying and i had to tell everyone i was dying. the place we had to perform the play at was a school and it had a really neat piano. it was all really real
